Here are some of the my experiences to start building to this

I started my current fitness program over 6 years ago (in
2001). I had been diagnosed with heart disease (a calcium buildup in the blood
vessels in and around the heart. When I started to have pains in my chest I knew
I had to do something.
So I first set up a weight loss/control regime and reduced my
weight from 195 down to 160. However, I still felt chest congestion. That's when
I added exercise to my fitness program and started a antioxidant oriented
vitamin supplement program.
Two years later I had another heart exam and found that the
symptoms of my heart disease had reversed. In a eye examination I found that I
no longer had evidence of a certain degradation in my right eye that was a
possible indication of an impending stroke.
Three years later at another eye exam I had to change my
eyeglass prescription because the vision in my right eye was improving. My right
eye distance vision correction was reduced.
The results are that not only has the aging process slowed,
but my body is repairing the damage!
The lesson for all is simply this. Start you fitness program
now. Get started and do not stop.
